outsourcing my sewing

Well, I've finally taken the plunge and decided to outsource the sewing of my blankets. Long gone are the days of my mom and I sewing at night and on the weekends! There is just not enough time in the day with two kids, job, husband, house, personal time etc....

This weekend I'm going to meet with a local seemstress (no, not flying to China to hire a 5 year old) and see if she can take on the task of sewing my blankets. I have about 50 blankets for her to sew right now...so let's hope we can work something out! It's bitter sweet because my mom and I won't be personally sewing all the blankets but it will allow the company to grow and for me to focus on new designs and fabrics which is really my favorite part!
